Client Development Manager - Scotland

    Job Description

    To manage clients within allotted territory to deliver positive and timely business performance and growth within a regulated framework. 

    To ensure business scale and profitability growth via increased product ranges through existing accounts, and distribution network growth through new accounts within delegated territories.

     

    Primary Objectives

    ·       Account and/or Regional Distribution development.

    ·       Account, region and product portfolio growth and performance.

    ·       Identification of New Business Opportunities within existing accounts and developing new relationships

    ·       Delivering to and reporting on regional budgets and targets.

    ·       Carrying out performance review meetings with primary clients.

    ·       Maintaining key relationships within the delegated territories and client base.

    ·       Identifying opportunities for and supporting company tenders and presentations.

    ·       Supporting New Starter Induction and training programs

     

    Key Performance Indicators:

    ·       On Target delivery of growth and profit across each and combined allotted lines of business, client, and territory.

    ·       On Target business growth and development along with timely delivery of pipeline business.

    ·       Evidence of on target interaction with key client stakeholders to achieve, and/or address shortfalls all indicated growth and profitability objectives.

    ·       Evidence of appropriate interaction with and benefits from all networking opportunities.

     

    Accountable for:

    ·       The delivery of profitable performance and growth of all allotted business lines and regions within all legal and regulatory requirements.  

    ·       The support of the positive company culture through indirect reports and pier group.

    ·       The development and maintenance of key client relationships.

    ·       Maximum sustainable Return on Investment across all allotted territory and lines of business. 

    ·       VPS Complaints and bringing them to conclusion.

     

    This is not exhaustive list of duties, and the post holder may be required to undertaken other reasonable duties, to meet the needs of the business.

    Minimum of 5 GCSE’s or equivalent at Grade C or above (including English, Math’s), or equivalent training or experience

    At least 3 years distribution / account management in the Motor Trade / Insurance or related industries or experience within a Motor Dealer.

    Solid industry knowledge of; Motor Trade; Profit, Customer Retention and Product delivery methods.

    Current industry knowledge of; Product and Insurance account development and distribution.
