Your Role & Responsibilities
- IT Support & Troubleshooting – Be the go-to expert for resolving IT issues across hardware, software, and network connectivity, both on-site and remotely.
- Systems Oversight & IT Asset Management – Manage IT, mobile, and telecom contracts, ensuring efficient inventory tracking and documentation.
- User Training & Documentation – Create user guides and training materials to enhance IT awareness and self-service capability.
- Telephony Management – Oversee and maintain the Daktela and Horizon phone systems.
- Infrastructure & Cloud Management – Install, configure, and manage IT infrastructure, including cloud-based servers and networking equipment.
- Microsoft 365 Administration – Support and maintain our Microsoft 365 environment (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, InTune).
- User Access & Security – Manage onboarding/offboarding, user accounts, permissions, and data security policies.
- Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities for IT process enhancements and automation.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with department heads to fulfil business IT requirements.
Essential Experience:
- 5+ years in an IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint).
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for device and policy management.
- Expertise in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security best practices.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain servers and networking infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.
Desirable Skills:
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent).
- CISSP certification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Hands-on experience with IT service desks or networking support roles.
- Experience leading IT projects, upgrades, and migrations.
- A passion for automation, process improvement, and modern IT solutions.
